Health Data Notice

This notice explains, in plain language, how NSL Nutrition (Naama Sahar Levitt Nutrition) ("SmartEat", "we", "us") handles health-related data when you use the SmartEat apps and website. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which remains the full legal description of our privacy practices. If anything here conflicts with the Privacy Policy on a privacy topic, the Privacy Policy controls.

Why We Need Health-Related Data

Many SmartEat features only work if you choose to share relevant information (for example body metrics, meals, or steps). Without that data, personalized tracking and insights may be limited or unavailable. You can often edit or delete entries in the app, and you can request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

Examples of Health-Related Data We May Process

Depending on which features you use and what you authorize, this may include:

• Profile and body metrics you enter (for example age, height, weight, sex, goals, activity level).
• Nutrition logs such as meals, scans, calories, macros, water, and related notes or photos you upload.
• Device health data you explicitly allow, for example via Apple Health / HealthKit (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) - such as steps, weight, sleep, or other types you choose to share.
• AI feature inputs needed to generate insights or recommendations (limited to what the feature requires; we do not use your content to train OpenAI models).
• Support communications if you voluntarily share health details when contacting us.

How We Use It

We use health-related data to provide and improve the features you request - tracking, insights, plans, appointments workflow, backups, security, and customer support - as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising networks to monetize your health data.

If we ever need to use health-related data for a new purpose that requires consent under applicable law, we will ask for that consent.

Sharing

We may share data with service providers that help us operate SmartEat (for example cloud infrastructure, analytics, AI processing for features you use, and sign-in providers), under appropriate safeguards, as listed in the Privacy Policy. We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Nutrition Health Academy

Nutrition Health Academy is an educational companion app. It does not collect clinical health-tracking data such as Apple Health metrics, weight logs, or medical records. See the Academy section in our Privacy Policy for details.

Your Choices and Rights

• Device permissions: Revoke HealthKit or Health Connect access anytime in your device settings.
• In-app controls: Edit or delete many entries; manage account settings where available.
• Account deletion / access requests: Contact [email protected] or use in-app deletion options described in the Privacy Policy.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under Israeli privacy law, GDPR/UK GDPR, or other applicable laws. How to exercise those rights is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update this notice when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes may also be reflected in the Privacy Policy and, where appropriate, communicated in the app or by email.
