Ingredients

  • Lobster Tails200–250 g each
  • Unsalted Butter, melted3 tbsp
  • Garlic, minced3 cloves
  • Paprika½ tsp
  • Pepper½ tsp
  • Salt½ tsp
  • Chopped Parsley (for garnish)1 tbsp
  • Potatoes, peeled and cubed500 g
  • Heavy Cream (warm)¼ cup
  • Freshly ground black pepper1 tbsp
  • Lemon Juice1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes: Place cubed potatoes in salted water and boil for 15–20 minutes, until tender.
  2. Mash: Drain and mash with butter and warm cream until smooth.
  3. Season: Add salt and pepper to taste. Keep warm.
  4. Prepare the lobster: Cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise and gently pull the meat slightly out, resting it on top of the shell.
  5. Make garlic butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  6. Brush: Generously brush the lobster meat with the garlic butter mixture.

Cook:

Option 1 – Broil: Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil for 8–10 minutes, until opaque and slightly golden.

Option 2 – Pan sear: Heat a skillet over medium heat, add a bit of butter, and cook the lobster meat for 3–4 minutes per side, basting with the remaining garlic butter.

Serve: Place the lobster tails over mashed potatoes, drizzle extra garlic butter on top, and garnish with chopped parsley.
