Ingredients
- Pasta (penne or fettuccine)350 g
- Olive oil2 tbsp
- Garlic, minced3 cloves
- Crushed Tomatoes400 g
- Heavy Cream1 cup
- Salt½ tsp
- Pepper½ tsp
- Grated Parmesan Cheese½ cup
- Fresh Basil Leaves, chopped1 cup
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Boil in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the sauce: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add tomatoes: Stir in crushed tomatoes, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 8–10 minutes.
- Make it creamy: Lower heat, add heavy cream and Parmesan, and stir until smooth.
- Combine: Toss in the cooked pasta and chopped basil. Mix well to coat evenly.
- Serve: Garnish with extra Parmesan and basil leaves.
